The Alternate Root Cafe

Situated in friendly Uralla, New South Wales, in the historical ‘Trikett’s’ building, is where you’ll find our bustling flagship cafe.

Berdine Warne and Andy Neary co-own the business and they run it along with a fantastic team.

The Alternate Root are known for the love, care and attention to detail that is put into our food and coffee and our regulars have come to expect the efficient and friendly service that our wonderful team offers. We would love all our customers to feel like they have entered our home, to feel comfortable and to be able to relax, unwind and let us take care of them for a while.

As well as running a busy breakfast and lunch trade seven days a week, Friday and Saturday night dinners have proven to be very popular and locals have also come to look forward to public, evening events such as trivia, theme nights, live music and open mic nights.
