Emma Louise Stanley, working under the name E.L.SART, is a Tamworth-based visual artist creating colourful, joy-filled, dopamine-driven artworks designed to lift mood and spark imagination. Her work is playful, expressive and full of personality, celebrating colour, creativity and emotional connection through bold visual storytelling.
She holds a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts and spent a decade working as a high school art teacher, developing a strong foundation in creative education and visual expression. Since transitioning to a full-time independent artist in 2020, she has focused on building a practice centred on accessibility, joy and expressive freedom, with a strong emphasis on the emotional impact of art.
Working under E.L.SART, she creates vibrant mixed media artworks using acrylic paint, paint pens, collage and textiles. Her pieces are layered with bold colour, pattern and expressive mark-making, often incorporating tactile elements that enhance depth and visual interest. Inspired by the concept of dopamine art, her work celebrates the power of colour and play, aiming to evoke happiness and emotional resonance through dynamic visual compositions.
Her work has been exhibited at Weswal Gallery, Tamworth Regional Gallery and Aspire Gallery, and she regularly delivers creative workshops within the community, sharing her passion for art-making and encouraging others to explore their own creativity. Each artwork is intended to invite viewers into a positive visual experience that uplifts everyday spaces.
