Based in Inverell and travelling throughout NSW and QLD, Melissa Bernard Photography covers all photography needs – from families and weddings to real estate, business, and event photography.

My name is Melissa Bernard, and I’ve lived in the Inverell region my whole life. Alongside my husband, teenage son, and energetic Kelpie, I draw inspiration from the land I was raised on and the people I meet every day. I’ve always loved connecting with people, hearing their stories, and capturing who they truly are through my lens.

Photography is more than just a job for me – it’s a passion. I’m dedicated to delivering high-quality images that reflect genuine personality and emotion, and I’m constantly refining my skills to give my clients the very best.

In November 2023, I was honoured to receive first place in the New England Region, third place in NSW, and number 35 nationally in the Top Photographer Awards – Photography Business of the Year. My work has also won multiple awards at local, state, national, and international levels, and has been published in magazines, newspapers, and online platforms.

What sets my photography apart is not just the quality and professionalism you’ll receive, but also the relaxed, down-to-earth experience I create. Making sure my clients feel comfortable and have fun during their session is always my top priority.
